About Altered State Brewing Company
From Altered State Brewing's own website and its Google listing, read October 4, 2026.
Altered State Brewing Company is a small brewery with a taproom on Garvey Drive in Raleigh. Its website says the beer is locally crafted and always changing. Dogs and kids are both welcome here.
The taps lean toward hoppy and hazy IPAs, heavily fruited sours, stouts and classic lagers. The website promises new releases every week. A smaller brewing setup is what lets the team keep switching things up.
Outside food and deliveries are encouraged. Cafe Capistrano next door serves modern Mexican food. The patio has plenty of outdoor seating, umbrellas and fire pits.
There are non-alcoholic drinks for the little ones and dog bowls for the furry ones. Altered State also keeps an events page on its website.
