About Great Sacandaga Brewing Co.
Great Sacandaga Brewing Co. is a family-owned brewery and taproom in Broadalbin, on several acres along Kennyetto Creek. Erik and Jerrianne Stevens started it by brewing five gallons at a time in a garage. The brewery says every ingredient is sourced from New York farms.
The beer list runs from IPAs and lagers to fruited sours and seasonal beers. The taproom also pours cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. Crowlers go home with you, and kegs are sold to local bars and restaurants.
Inside is a rustic taproom with a full bar. Outside are a covered tent and creekside grounds with room to spread out. You can bring your own food, and hot Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese are sold in the taproom while food trucks rotate through.
Dogs and kids are welcome. Live music plays every week, and trivia runs on the first Friday of the month.
