About Nine Pin Ciderworks

Nine Pin Ciderworks is a cider bar and tasting room in Albany's Warehouse District. Its website calls it New York's First Farm Cidery and says it secured the state's very first farm cidery license. The company started in 2012.

The website says the ciders are made from 100% fresh-pressed New York apples, never from concentrate. Signature is the flagship. It is an off-dry sparkling cider made with apples from Samascott Orchards.

The tasting room pours ciders by the 6 or 12 ounce glass or in a flight. On tap exclusives can go home in a growler. It also serves New York beers, cocktails and food pairings.

Dogs are welcome on a leash, and the website calls the space family-friendly. Trivia runs every second Tuesday. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Albany on this site.
