About Big Rack Brew Haus
Big Rack Brew Haus is a brewery with a taproom in the rolling hills of Madison County, outside Winterset. Owner and brewer Aaron Oviatt started it with the brew house from a neighboring brewery, Twisted Vine. Twisted Vine had outgrown its equipment and handed it over.
The taps lean toward IPAs. Snakebite IPA, Venom IPA and Nefarious Black IPA sit beside Honey Badger Brown, Killer-Watt Citrus Wheat and Hillbilly Lager. Porters and a seltzer turn up on the beer list too.
Live bands and food trucks come through on event days, including the Far-West Mexican Food Truck. The first Sunday of each month is Loaded Bloody Mary Sunday Funday. The entrance and the parking lot are both wheelchair accessible.
