Calusa Brewing Taproom is a brewery on McIntosh Road in Sarasota. Its website says it unveils one or two new beers every week, and they are poured only in the taproom. The brewery describes itself as Veteran-owned and family-friendly.
The taproom covers 4,000 square feet and has two bars and 36 tap lines. A floor-to-ceiling view looks onto the production floor, and local artwork hangs on the walls. Bar games are set up if you want to play a round while you drink.
Zote is the flagship hazy IPA, and Siesta Squeeze is a tangerine wheat ale. The website lists a gold medal for Zote at Best Florida Beer in 2024. Cans and bottles are sold only at the taproom.
