About Deviant Wolfe Brewing
Deviant Wolfe Brewing is a family friendly brewery and taproom on West 1st Street in downtown Sanford, Florida. Four friends who met at the University of Florida started it. The space was once a dance studio, a Crossfit gym and a bank, and the old bank vault is now the staff office.
The beer list runs from a light American lager called Iron Bend to a hefeweizen called Nefarious Nebulas. It also includes a pale ale, a red rye and a New England IPA. Its website says the dark German lager Exterior Illumination won a gold medal at Best Florida Beer in 2020.
The team built much of the room themselves from recycled and reclaimed materials. One founder handmade the picnic tables and the window bar. You can order food from SLAM Pizza & Cheesesteaks and have it brought to your table.
Trivia and a run club meet on Wednesdays, and yoga is on Sundays. Community Brewhouse and Inner Compass Brewing are both 0.1 miles away. That makes the block an easy one to explore.
