Southpaw Brewing Company is a brewery restaurant on SW Discovery Way in Port St. Lucie. Two families from Long Island started Southpaw and pair its own beer with brick oven pizza. The website says the oven was imported from Italy, and you can watch the pizza makers work from your table.
The house list runs from Lefty Lucie Lite Lager and Sunburnt Red Ale to Hoppy Horizon IPA and Espresso Nutcase Porter. Southpaw Knockout is the big one at 10 percent. Flights come in sizes of four or six, and seasonals like Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Port rotate in.
Pizza is the star, but the kitchen also turns out starters, salads, sandwiches and entrees, with ahi tuna nachos a house favorite. There are cocktails and wine for anyone skipping beer.
The website pitches it for family dinners, date nights and watching the big game. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Port St. Lucie on this site.
