About History Class Brewing Company
History Class Brewing Company is a brewpub in Historic Downtown Panama City. Its website says it exists to tell the stories of the community around handcrafted beer and food. Many of its beers are named for local people and places.
Belle Booth is a blonde ale named for the city's first female postmaster. Val Valentine is a hazy IPA named for the artist who designed rides at Miracle Strip Amusement Park. Strong Boy is a West Coast IPA, and Pollywog and Miss Neon are gluten-free hard ciders.
The kitchen serves Southern bites, and the site says the room is kid friendly, with coloring sheets and games on hand. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on leash in two outdoor seating areas.
The website also says the brewery donates a share of every beer to a different local charity each month. More people have reviewed History Class on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Panama City on this site.
