Wicked Barley Brewing Company is a waterfront brewpub in Jacksonville, on Baymeadows Road along Goodby's Creek. It has its own boat dock, so you can arrive by water instead of by car. The brewery opened on the creek in July 2016.
Wicked Barley pours its own beers, ciders and meads across 20 taps, under the slogan Naughty Ales for Noble Souls. Its website says the brewpub was voted Best Brew Pub in Florida by Best Florida Beer in 2017. Founders Philip, Tobin, Brett and Bradley set out to make beer styles that push past the usual local lineup.
The waterfront grounds include a dog friendly beer garden, a kayak launch and a covered patio with multiple TVs. Inside, a full gastropub kitchen serves appetizers, burgers, salads and sandwiches, plus a kids menu. A 73 car parking lot rounds out the property.
Wicked Barley also books private events, from birthdays to retirements, through its own events team. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Jacksonville on this site.
