About Anarchy Ale Works

Anarchy Ale Works is a family-owned brewery and taproom in Alva, Florida. John Ford, his wife Tara and their daughter Tia run it. John started as a homebrewer decades ago, and the Anarchy Ale Works name dates to 2014.

The lineup covers blondes, Belgian ales, IPAs, ambers and stouts, plus seasonal and specialty pours. Beer names include Alva Sunshine, Shirtless Ken and Tyrant's Blood. The taproom pours its own beer and no domestic brands.

The 2,600-square-foot taproom has a rustic feel, with handcrafted live-edge tables and games for guests of all ages. An indoor wine truck with a 12-bottle dispenser serves wine, and there is prosecco too. Outside, a covered patio has large games, a fire pit and big fans.

Food trucks rotate through during the week, and live music plays on weekends. Kids are welcome, and so are well-mannered dogs on a leash.
