About Wibby Brewing
Wibby Brewing is a lager brewery and taproom on Emery Street in Longmont, Colorado. Its website says it opened Labor Day weekend 2015 and set out to brew only lagers. The site also says Wibby was honored as Great American Beer Festival Brewery of the Year in the 5,001 to 15,000 barrel size group.
The taproom sits on the former truck maintenance facility of the historic Butterball Turkey plant. Its website says brewmaster Ryan Wibby studied at the VLB in Berlin. He uses German malts, Pacific Northwest hops and Rocky Mountain water.
Outside, a large open-air pavilion called the Festgarten hosts live music and events. Its website lists a Monday fun run, Thursday bingo and Friday sushi from Temaki Tornado. The taproom is open seven days a week, and the whole family is welcome.
Friendly dogs are welcome on a leash. The website says its Volksbier Vienna scored a 100 from Wine Enthusiast.
