About 6 and 40 Brewery
6 and 40 Brewery is a car-themed brewery on Parfet Street in Lakewood. Its website says fans describe the retro mechanics' garage as an automobile mini museum. Tom and Eileen Schurmann opened it in 2020.
The website says there are 20 beers and seltzers on tap. It mentions easy-to-drink lagers, IPAs and seasonals, plus experimental beers. Hard root beer and seltzer are there for friends who skip beer.
Tom's Brew Shop is next door. The website calls it one of the few remaining homebrew supply stores in the Denver area. It also offers select draft beer styles in 5-gallon kits to make at home.
Thursday is weekly trivia night. The heated Beer Barn is a private events space, and food trucks visit on a posted schedule.
