About Kannah Creek Brewing Company

Kannah Creek Brewing Company is a brewpub on 12th Street in Grand Junction, near Colorado Mesa University. Jim and Bernadette Jeffryes opened it as the first of their two neighborhood brewpubs. Its website says that was before craft beer was cool in Western Colorado.

The site says you can choose from 15 of its own beers. The list includes Island Mesa Blonde, Highside Hefeweizen, Standing Wave Pale Ale and Broken Oar IPA. Black's Bridge Stout is served on nitro.

The kitchen makes brick oven pizza, calzones, stromboli and salads. You can eat in the dining room or on the shady patio. Pets are allowed on the patio.

On the first Monday of every month, the pub teams up with a local non-profit for a fundraiser. A portion of the sales of one chosen beer goes to the cause. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Grand Junction on this site.
