About Alibi Ale Works - Truckee Public House
Alibi Ale Works - Truckee Public House is a brewpub on Bridge Street in Truckee's historic downtown. It opened in June 2017 as the second Alibi location, with a sister pub in Incline Village. Google's description says the house-brewed beers are made with Lake Tahoe water.
Its website lists 18 or more frequently rotating Alibi beers on draft, plus cider, wine and non-alcoholic options. The core lineup runs from a kolsch and a West Coast pale ale to a hazy IPA, a porter and a helles-style lager. Cans, bottles, crowlers and growlers are sold to go.
The kitchen serves upscale pub fare that rotates with the seasons. Seating is communal indoors, and the large beer garden has heated outdoor seating. Live music and Tuesday trivia are regular parts of the week.
Its website says Alibi has been voted Best Brewery in Truckee and North Lake Tahoe 11 times in the Sierra Sun's Best of Truckee and North Lake Tahoe contest. More people have reviewed it on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in Truckee on this site.
