Hapa’s Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom on Laurel Street in San Carlos. It is one of four Hapa's locations, with the others in San Jose and Los Gatos. Its website says the company was founded by South Bay natives who want to make beer for the neighborhoods they love.
The San Carlos taproom serves food as well as beer. The menu includes a warm Bavarian pretzel with cheese sauce, avocado toast, flatbread pizza and a charcuterie board. There is a kids grilled cheese too.
Seating is open and first come, first served. The taproom is family friendly and keeps games on hand. Leashed dogs are allowed on the outdoor patio.
