About Grass Valley Brewing Company
Grass Valley Brewing Company is a brewery and restaurant on East Main Street in downtown Grass Valley. Its website says the taproom opened in the summer of 2018 and became known as Grass Valley's Living Room. Four local families started it, and Tom Rogers' homebrewing sparked the idea.
Five flagship beers lead the list. Grateful Haze is a hazy IPA with Citra and Eldorado hops, and Illad is a double dry hopped American IPA. Brunswick Blonde, Irish Getaway red ale and Long Tom lager round out the five.
The kitchen makes homemade pub fare, with burgers, salads and a kids' menu. Taco specials run every Tuesday, and seasonal Texas style barbecue appears on weekends. Dogs are welcome in the Brew House seating area.
