About Glendale Tap
Glendale Tap is a brewpub and pub on San Fernando Road in Glendale, with a vintage dive bar feel. Its website says it pours a rotating list of more than 50 beers on tap and cask. Owner Glyn Samuel bought the space in 2011, and the bar opened in 2012.
The styles run from wheat beers and sours to India pale ales and stouts. Because the list rotates, the lineup changes from visit to visit.
The room was built around reuse. An old bowling alley became the bartop, and a wall along the back holds the taphandles. The decor includes antique tools, oil cans and old beer signs.
There is a pool table inside and a garden patio out back. The Bottle Shop sells beer to go, and the bar keeps a separate to-go beer menu. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Glendale on this site.
