About BarrelHouse Brewing Fresno - Taproom

From BarrelHouse's own website and its Google listing, read October 3, 2026.

BarrelHouse Brewing's Fresno taproom is at River Park in Fresno. Its website describes a 6,000 square foot destination with a large outdoor patio, live music and food. It is one of four BarrelHouse taprooms, with others in Paso Robles, Visalia and Bakersfield.

The website says BarrelHouse was founded in 2013 by co-owners Jason Carvalho and Kevin Nickell, along with friend Chris Vaughn. It started as a small operation in Carvalho's garage. The site calls it the largest American family-owned craft brewery in San Luis Obispo County.

Its website says the brewers make small-batch, taproom-exclusive beers, seltzers, ciders and non-alcoholic options every month. The company also says it brews beers it likes to drink, not beers built for competitions.
