The Confessional by The Lost Abbey is a brewpub and taproom in Cardiff, near the ocean. It is one of the Lost Abbey tasting rooms, and it has a confessional booth where you can unburden yourself over a pint. The brewery itself is in Vista.
Lost Abbey makes Belgian-inspired ales, barrel-aged blends and spontaneous creations. It opened in San Marcos in May 2006. The brewery says it was named Great American Beer Festival Small Brewery of the Year in 2007.
The Confessional also works as a bar and a beer store. The booth invites beachgoers to stop in for a pint. The entrance, parking lot and restroom are all wheelchair accessible.
