About Rapp's Barren Brewing Company

Rapp's Barren Brewing Company is a locally owned brewery and restaurant in the Historic Baker District of Mountain Home. Its website says the Baker building was the first building built on the historic downtown square, in 1892. The brewery bought the building in 2019 and began restoring it.

The brewery grew out of two friends, Russell and Chris, who brewed together in their garages. It first opened its doors in 2017 at an earlier location. The remodeled downtown home opened in 2021.

The website says the kitchen aims for fresh, local and organic ingredients. Menu staples it lists include a poke bowl, carne asada fries, sliders and shrimp and grits. Sunday brunch is on the schedule too.

The site says Rapp's hosts live music and community events year-round. The menu includes a kids menu. Google lists a wheelchair accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating.
